I was sitting at the neighborhood pool watching my nephew run around all day. in this moment, towards the end of the day, he laid down and just stared at the sky. When I thought about how he might be feeling I wanted to feel imaginative, and wonderful. When he saw me painting the piece later on he said, “Oh yeah, I was dying.”
