I created a series of pieces in school with my focus being how being a woman is in a patriarchy. The more I created and delved into the subject, the more questions I had and the more my beliefs changed. I learned a lot through this, and it was difficult. It was extremely frustrating seeing how much the structure around us has really affected me and everyone around me and feeling there was not much that could be done to stop it. Even more frustrating was sorting through the morals of it, and deciding what I felt was right or wrong to me.
